Solar planning, physical camera movement and light synthesis shape each architectural film.
01 / Planned around the sun
Solar Mapping
Before filming, I map the sun path to identify when each space receives its strongest directional daylight.
I plan the filming day around the architecture and the sun, rather than simply moving through rooms in order.
02 / Movement is captured
Physical Camera Motion
Fluid camera movement, precise verticals, aerial filming and controlled exposure keep the architecture clean, sharp and considered.
The architecture, viewpoint, parallax and movement are physically captured in the real building.
03 / Shaped for its best solar moment
Light Synthesis
The real camera capture remains the foundation. Architecture is not changed; selected light conditions are shaped in post, informed by the building’s orientation and solar behaviour.
Some images stay close to capture. Others are pushed further. The judgement is knowing where to stop before the treatment becomes more noticeable than the building.
